The process of building a swimming oasis in your backyard is quite simple. Below are some pictures to help you understand the process
After the plans and permits have been approved, we start with a grassy backyard |
First, the pool is painted and then we grade to level. |
Then we make a hole and what you end up with is the shape of the pool. The pool is most vulnerable at this point. One good rain and the whole thing could wash-in! |
Next comes the steel and plumbing |
Then we shoot the gunite. Whew! Now we're safe! |
Here's where we add the tile and coping to the pool shell. |
After the tile and coping is completed, we go ahead and pour the swimming pool deck. |
On this particular pool, we added some cool deck and stained it so it blended better with the flagstone coping. We also applied dec-o-seal between the coping and the pool deck. Filled it up with water, added some lava rock around the pool and started the equipment. TIME TO SWIM!! |
If everything goes according to schedule without any rain delays or other things out of our control, the whole process should take about5 weeks including pulling permits.
